I currently lead the SEO team at the UK’s most reputable SEO agency, Ayima. Over my 12 years in the industry, I have devised and executed highly successful SEO strategies in the web’s most competitive sectors.
In an industry rife with charlatans, I am honest, straight-talking, data-driven, results-orientated and think differently from others.
As Head of Organic Performance at Ayima, applying an innovative and forward-thinking approach has helped Ayima grow our reputation as the UK’s finest SEO agency and stay at the forefront of technical SEO.
Put simply, I have a passion in seeing my clients see great results and there is no better satisfaction then seeing rankings and revenue grow through SEO.
I’m an SEO expert based in Croydon and a very proud Croydonian at heart. My SEO services cover Croydon, London, the south-east and south coast. I also have strong links with Ireland and frequently travel to Cork.
Back in 2012, I had the privilege of being Ayima’s 5th full-time SEO Consultant. As the company grew, I moved through the ranks to SEO Director, optimising client sites across multiple sectors, achieving position 1 results for thousands of keywords. I now lead a very talented team of SEO specialist as Head of Organic Performance.
I joined Golley Slater Digital as an SEO Consultant, working on a range of clients, including Center Parcs, Reed, Michael Page and NS&I. My achievements and development were quickly recognised and I became Head of SEO in just over a year. My role here involved improving optimising agency processes, growing & training a burgeoning SEO team, business development, whilst ensuring client deliverables were as expected. I spent a further 18 months at Golley Slater, before embarking on a new challenge….
After a stint in accounting, I decided to move into SEO, sending a speculative job application to the themovechannel.com after seeing an advert on gumtree. Here, I learnt the basics in SEO and the art of link building. After 18 months, I moved to TUI, working on the ski & lake brands for Crystal, Thomson and First Choice, achieving position 1 rankings for high volume terms, such as “ski holidays” & “snowboarding holidays”. Social media marketing was new, so anticipating a surge in social engagement, I created the Crystal Ski’s facebook page and a ski blog, ski-buzz.co.uk. By the time I left, the facebook page had 5,000 followers and the blog ranked top 3 positions for a range of ski and snowboard terms.
I was lucky enough to attend one of the best schools in London, Dulwich College. My university days were spent at the University of Kent at Canterbury, studying Business Administration & Computing. It’s here where a glimpse of SEO piqued my interest in an Ecommerce module and little did I know that it would form my career.
A proud Croydonian at heart, I grew up in Crystal Palace, before going on a mini-tour of South-East & South-West London – Kenley, Beckenham, Wimbledon and eventually in Coulsdon.
